Traditional Prawn Cocktail - Fish Quay History

Put the mayonnaise, tomato sauce and lemon juice into a large bowl and mix.

Wash the prawns and mix them into the sauce.

Prepare your bed of leaves on a suitable dish.

Spoon the prawn mix on top and finish with a little sprinkle of paprika.

Keep it chilled until you’re ready to eat.

  • salad leaves
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp lemon juice (to taste)
  • sprinkle of paprika
